Fair will celebrate all things made in county

A celebration of crafts and products made in Northumberland will take place at an Alnwick attraction at the end of the month.

Aln Valley railway will be hosting its summer fair at the Lionheart Station venue on Sunday, July 31.

And the event promises to be bigger and better than before.

There will be more than 20 stalls with a fabulous range of goods on offer including fine leather work, ceramics, jewellery, handmade wooden mementoes, face-painting, dog treats and gifts, Lindisfarne Mead, jams and preserves, paintings, sketches, photographic gifts, cushions, candles and bird boxes.

In addition there will also be a raffle (tickets sold on the day), guess the weight of the cake and a tombola.

Steam-hauled train services will also be on offer on the day and the stations museum, cafe and gift shop will also be open.

The fair will run from 10.30am t0 4.30pm.
