FACEBOOK: Great way to raise funds
Thank you to everyone who donated to my chosen charity, the Great North Air Ambulance Service, for my birthday this year.
The total raised was £125, with £65 of that coming from Facebook donations.
In the age of fake news and anonymous blogs, Facebook often gets bad press. However, its recently added fund-raisers feature has helped raise millions for worthy causes.
It’s a great way to spread the word and I’d encourage anyone to get involved.
