Scarecrows will once again invade two north Northumberland villages next month.
Acklington and Rennington both stage their annual festivals in August.
The Acklington Village Scarecrow Trail takes place on Saturday, August 13.
A range of colourful creations will be on display from 11am to 4.30pm.
The best place to start the trail is at Acklington Village Hall where maps can be purchased for £1, with proceeds in aid of Acklington church.
A tombola, bottle stalls and refreshments, including plated lunches, will be served in the hall.
An event spokesman said: “It is hoped that this year’s trail is again blessed with fine weather and turns out to be an equally memorable and enjoyable occasion for villagers and visitors alike. The trail has proved very popular in recent years and it should be another busy and interesting event.”

The Rennington Scarecrow Festival is staged on August Bank Holiday weekend, from Saturday, August 27, to Monday, August 29, from 10am to 4pm.
The event will also feature a sausage sizzle and marquees on the village green, as well as teas in the village hall. A scarecrow quiz, priced £1, will be available to help guide people around the village and see the scarecrows on display.
Proceeds from the event go towards the village hall.
