Those who choose to study at Northumberland College’s Berwick Centre can develop a wider range of skills than ever before, including salon management, media make-up, performing arts, photography and vehicle maintenance.
Free travel is on offer for students aged between 16 and 18 too.
The college is particularly excited to be bringing training within the arts to Berwick through a brand-new partnership with The Maltings, to deliver BTEC diplomas in performing arts and music production, which will give students a bespoke experience, underpinning knowledge of a real-life theatre and the working of a box office and back stage.
The college has also partnered with Berwick Rangers to offer budding footballers aged 16 to 18 the chance to gain qualifications as well as develop their football skills.
Those who are receiving their GCSE and A-Level results can speak to the college’s award-winning team of advisers at Berwick’s enrolment events tomorrow and next Thursday, September 1.
