Exhibitors snap up spots at tourism fair

Exhibitor places at the upcoming Alnwick Tourism Fair have sold out.

The event takes place at the town’s Willowburn Sports and Leisure Centre on Wednesday.

Hospitality providers and bed and breakfast businesses will be attending the event.

It is open to the public from 10am to 2.30pm. Admission is free and Alnwick’s Olive Branch Café will be serving lunches and refreshments during the day.

Philip Angier, of event organiser Local Living, said: “More than 100 of the north’s leading visitor attractions and tourism businesses have signed up as exhibitors.

“It is a don’t-miss date in the calendar for accommodation providers to collect information about local attractions for their guests. The fair is also a great way for local people to find out about festivals and events in 2016 and family days out.”
