The Let’s Talk Housing event, which is being co-hosted by Isos Housing Group, will bring together politicians, residents, academics and professionals working in the housing industry to discuss the challenges of building and funding much-needed new affordable homes for younger generations living in the region.

The event will be held at The Live Theatre in Newcastle on Monday, April 4, between 5.30pm and 7.30pm with a panel of experts including Shadow Minister for housing and planning, Roberta Blackman-Woods MP, deputy chief executive of Isos Group, Paul Fiddaman, and representatives from Generation Rent and the National Housing Federation.

Mr Fiddaman said: “There is increasing evidence that younger generations of society are being priced out of owning and, in some cases, even renting their own home.”
