Northumberland Wildlife Trust is hosting a family-fun day of walks, talks and wildflower craft activities at the site (NE61 5BX) on Saturday, July 2, between 11am and 3.30pm.

It comes as part of this year’s National Meadows Day, which is promising to be the biggest yet, with up to 100 events taking place across the UK in celebration of ancient wildflower meadows and their wildlife.

Booking is not necessary for the event at East Chevington, but for more information, contact Naomi Waite by sending an email to [email protected] or by calling 0191 2846884.

National Meadows Day, is supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund. Visit magnificentmeadows.org.uk for more details.
