BBC Countryfile is encouraging everyone to go on a countryside ramble of their own this weekend for Children in Need.

Ford & Etal Estates is creating two special routes so that you can enjoy a ramble through north Northumberland and raise money for the charity. One will be an easy-grade, 2.5-mile ramble, the other four to five miles over moderate terrain.

The routes, which will be way-marked and will follow tracks, established paths and minor roads, are open all day on Saturday and Sunday.

The start and finish point for both walks will be at the Looking Back Old Skills Fayre at Hay Farm Heavy Horse Centre where toilets and refreshments are also available (small admission charge to the event applies). Donate directly to Children in Need online or via collection box at Hay Farm.

Dogs welcome on a lead.
