Snowdrops signal that spring is on its way to Ford and Etal

Visitors have been enjoying a stroll around the drifts of flowers that are blooming in the copse near Etal Castle.

Among them was Jean Eisenhauer, from Branxton, who took these pictures.

There are also snowdrops in Ford and on Etal's riverside walk where there are also some early primroses.

Snowdrops walks will be signed during half term from February 17-21 but visitors can explore for themselves at other times.
