New board members wanted at Northumberland National Park Authority

Two new board members are needed at Northumberland National Park Authority.

The new recruits to the 18-member board will have a passion for the region, with a dedication to making the Park a welcoming and distinctive place that supports the landscape and environment.

Board members play a leading role in providing strategic leadership and setting priorities for the management.

They also ensure that the Park plays its role in addressing key challenges, such as climate change.

The Authority also wants to increase the diversity of the board.

Glen Sanderson, chairman of Northumberland National Park Authority, said: “This is a great opportunity to add to our skills and capabilities as a board. These positions are for anyone with a true passion for the Park, and a real vision for how we can make Northumberland National Park thrive for everyone.”
