Hide AdPlanning officer Jon Sharp reported: ‘It would support the development and growth of Alnwick as a service centre and would not compromise the provision of employment land in the area given the amount of available land in the vicinity of the site.’
Ionity GmbH is planning to create a 40-strong network of charging points on major routes around the UK to provide an environmentally sustainable and innovative solution to the long-distance viability of electric vehicles.
The proposed development site is close to the Hog’s Head Inn and service station on Hawfinch Drive.
