Dog fouling and litter problems highlighted in Alnwick neighbourhood

Concerns have been raised about dog fouling and litter being left in The Pastures area of Alnwick.

Coun Martin Harrington, speaking at a meeting of Alnwick Town Council, said: “We haven’t got a dog bin anywhere in that are of the Lion Bridge when you come off The Pastures field.

"I’ve been down that area myself picking it up – and the plastic bottles.

"The Pastures is a great walk but it would be even better if there was a bin at either end.”
