Coun Martin Harrington, speaking at a meeting of Alnwick Town Council, said: “We haven’t got a dog bin anywhere in that are of the Lion Bridge when you come off The Pastures field.
"I’ve been down that area myself picking it up – and the plastic bottles.
"The Pastures is a great walk but it would be even better if there was a bin at either end.”
