Another opportunity is coming along for the people of Glendale to improve their warmth and wellbeing this winter.
A wide range of people benefitted from improvements in 2015/16 and now there’s a new central heating and boiler replacement scheme coming.
“It’s so important that as many people as possible get their homes warm and comfortable and this applies to all ages and conditions of residents,” said Jane Pannell, chairman of Co-ordinating4Age.
Starting at 9.30am next Wednesday in the Cheviot Centre in Wooler, there’ll be presentations about the new schemes and what’s available followed by face-to-face meetings with the service providers. Community Action Northumberland has set up the roadshow and Ageing Well will be there too.
