DOUGHNUTS: Tuck in for charity funds

editorial image

National Doughnut Week takes place between May 6 and 13 to raise money for The Children’s Trust, the UK’s leading charity for children with brain injury.

Each year, bakers and cafes donate money from the sales of doughnuts during the week. Last year, £22,783 was raised.

I would like to appeal for more bakers and cafes to register. I would also encourage the public to get involved by buying a doughnut from shops displaying National Doughnut Week posters.
