This year’s Jam Jar Army charity is out in force again over the next week to unveil another two defibrillators.
The first for the Stephen Carey Fund committee takes place at Ford Scout Camp on Tuesday with training starting at 7pm, following a collaboration between the Fund and another like-minded charity, North East Hearts With Goals.
The second is to be installed next to Lindisfarne Middle School in Alnwick and a community training session will take place in the school hall at 7pm next Thursday.
David Wilson, communications manager for the Fund, said: “My children and many of those of my friends and family attend Lindisfarne Middle School so I was personally delighted when this opportunity arose, but it also provide great coverage of the sports hall nearby which is used by several sporting clubs and obviously to those who live within the vicinity of the school.”
The communities in both Alnwick and Ford are urged to attend the respective events.
Free training will be provided which is suitable for all age groups.
