Emma Arthur, HospiceCare fund-raiser, described the van as a lifeline, which has already made running events easier and delivering shop donations more efficient.

She said: “Prior to having the van, we were using our own vehicles to transport event kit and shop donations, which often meant several runs to and from the venue. Now we can load everything in one go.”

“It has been rewarding to see how invaluable our support has been to the hospice, which is a vital part of the community.”
