Discover traditional craft of rag rugging

The rag rugging showcase takes place at the Bailiffgate Museum.

Rag rugging is a traditional craft that has been used for hundreds of years to turn old, worn-out textiles into hard-wearing and decorative rugs.

Alnwick Matmakers, Woodhorn Matters, Ebor Ruggers, Monday Matters (Alnwick), Belford Hookers, Berwick Rag Ruggers ,Durham Rug Makers and Tyne Valley Matters have all contributed to the exhibition which runs until October 30.
