The children of Lowick and Holy Island C of E First Schools worked along with the Peregrini Partnership and Dig Ventures, exploring the archaeological sites of Holy Island.
The work aimed to find the site of St Oswald’s Anglo-Saxon monastery and learn more about the island’s iron-working past.
