Christian Aid Week starts on Sunday and, as usual, Alnwick is getting behind the appeal. As it is not possible to cover the whole town door-to-door, volunteers will be collecting in the town centre from Thursday, May 17, to Saturday, May 19.
Or you could swap your cornflakes for a sausage sandwich at St Michael’s Primary School between 8am and 9am on Friday, May 18, where The BIG Breakfast will be taking place.
On Saturday, May 19, there will be a coffee morning at St James’s URC Church Centre between 9am and noon. Christian Aid has been supplying humanitarian relief and fighting injustice for 70 years.
