Police have issued an appeal for information after a car had its tyres slashed in a Northumberland town.
The incident happened between 3.10pm on Tuesday and 7am yesterday and the car was parked in Clayport Street in Alnwick when the tyres were slashed.
Neighbourhood Inspector Paul Truscott said: “This is mindless damage that has caused a great deal of inconvenience and cost to the victim.
“We’re carrying out inquiries and I would urge anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously or anything out of the ordinary in Clayport Street between Tuesday and Thursday to get in contact.”
