Two people have been arrested after a quad bike was stolen from a shed near Belford.

A green Honda 300 quad and some clothing were taken overnight on May 7.

The quad was seen in convoy with an Astra on the A1, near Morpeth, in the early hours of May 8, and two people were arrested from the vehicle, although the quad is still missing.

Meanwhile, a new five-foot wide wooden gate was stolen from a farm near Wooler between April 28 and 30, and a Nixon powerwasher was stolen from a farm near Stannington between May 5 and 6.
