Three men sought by police after thefts from Northumberland supermarkets

Northumbria Police has released images of three men following thefts in Blyth and Cramlington.

Around 2pm on Saturday, December 21, a man entered the Co-op on Moor Farm Roundabout, Cramlington, and filled a basket with joints of meat.

He left the shop without paying and got into a waiting red Renault Clio.

Two hours later, the same man returned to the same store and filled another basket with meat before leaving in the same vehicle.

Officers were also called to Asda on Cowpen Road, Blyth, on Monday, December 2 after two men entered the store and attempted to leave with a trolley full of goods.

The pair were intercepted by staff and the goods recovered, but the men made off in a red Renault Clio.

The three pictured men were known to have been in the area at the time of the incidents and could assist with inquiries.
