Ten of the top Northumberland crime hot spots revealed in new Home Office figures

The latest reported crime hot spots across large areas of Northumberland have been identified by the Home Office in official new figures.

July’s statistics, released on the www.police.uk website, cover Northumbria Police’s Alnwick, Berwick and Morpeth neighbourhoods and indicate that the overall number of cases has fallen by around a third compared to June’s total (available here). The Home Office also stresses that incidents are said to have taken place “on or near” named locations.
