A MAN has appeared in court charged with a string of offences.
At Berwick Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, Sam Hanlon, of Wingate, County Durham, entered no pleas to charges of a burglary of outbuildings at a farm in Stannington, attempted burglary with intent to steal at farm outbuildings in Wooler, theft of a motor vehicle from Branton, driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence and driving without insurance, both on the A697.
The 21-year-old is also charged with receivng stolen goods.
The case was adjourned to Thursday, September 1 for a plea and directions hearing at Newcastle Crown Court. Hanlon was remanded in custody.
