Police are appealing for the public’s help to locate a missing woman from Bury, who has links with Northumberland and may be in the county.
Lynda Foulkes, 46, was last seen in the Ainsworth area of Bury at around 3pm on Thursday.
She has links with North Tyneside and Northumberland and it is believed she may visit the area of Wallington Hall or Belsay in Northumberland, or the Whitley Bay area of North Tyneside.
She is described as being white, of slim build, 5ft 5in tall, has short black/greying hair and brown eyes. When she was last seen, she was wearing grey trousers, a navy-blue hooded top and walking trainers. Extensive inquiries are ongoing to trace her and police are appealing for the public’s help.
Superintendent Alan Veitch said: “Lynda has not been seen since Thursday afternoon and we are become increasingly concerned for her welfare.
“We know that she has links with the Northumberland and North Tyneside areas and we believe she may visit those areas. We are asking the public to contact us immediately if they see her. We are also appealing for Lynda herself to contact us and let us know she is okay.”
