Police have appealed for help after reports of dangerous driving on a Northumberland road.

Shortly before 3pm on July 26, officers stopped a vehicle that had allegedly been driving dangerously on the B6318 Military Road between the A68 roundabout and East Wallhouses.

It had been reported that the vehicle, a silver Seat Ibiza, had been dangerously overtaking cars at high speeds.

Now police are appealing to the public and any witnesses to come forward as they may be able to help with enquiries.

Officers believe a number of vehicles were in the area and may be able to offer some information or dashcam footage to officers.

Any witnesses, or those who can help, are urged to contact police via 101 or the online reporting form available on the Northumbria Police website using reference number 723 26/07/20.
