Police appeal for witnesses after 'high value items' stolen from Gressingham Close in Cramlington

At around 8pm on Friday, February 7, police received a report of a burglary on Gressingham Close.

Officers were told that the address had been broken into via the back door and that a number of “high value items” had been stolen.

A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: “It is believed that a man with an Irish accent was in the area at the time of the incident and officers are now appealing to the man, or anyone who may know him, to come forward as he may be able to help with police enquiries.”

The man, any witnesses or anyone with CCTV footage which may be able to help, is asked to call 101 quoting reference number 1183 07/02/20.
