Northumbria Police plea to find wanted man in theft and fraud inquiry

Northumbria Police are searching for Julian Evans, 41, who is originally from Wales and who the force say “is wanted in relation to theft and fraud offences committed in the Northumbria Police area after failing to appear at court earlier in the year”.

A statement released on Friday, September 18 adds: “Efforts have been ongoing to locate Julian, who is also known as Simon Webb, and a number of searches are being carried out throughout England, Wales and Scotland with Evans known to travel throughout the UK.

“Now police are asking members of the community who might have seen him or who might know his whereabouts to come forward with information.

“Julian, or anyone who believes they have seen him, are asked to contact police, quoting reference 1432923, or via the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
