July’s statistics, released on the www.police.uk website, cover Northumbria Police’s Alnwick, Berwick and Morpeth neighbourhoods and indicate that the overall number of cases has fallen by around a third compared to June’s total (available here). The Home Office also stresses that incidents are said to have taken place “on or near” named locations.
