Latest Northumberland crime hot spots revealed by official Home Office figures

The latest reported crime hot spots across large areas of Northumberland have been revealed by the Home Office in official new figures.

August’s statistics, released on the www.police.uk website, cover Northumbria Police’s Alnwick, Berwick and Morpeth neighbourhoods and indicate that the overall number of cases has risen by around a fifth compared to 12 months previously. The Home Office stresses that incidents are said to have taken place “on or near” named locations. July’s hot spots are available here.
