Dead sheep charge

TWO men have appeared in court charged with eight counts of failing to dispose of dead sheep properly.

At Berwick Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, John Douglas Robson, 52, and Robert Benjamin Robson, 51, both of Rayheugh Farm, near Chathill, pleaded guilty to all counts.

The charges relate to the European and UK regulations which govern the disposal of animal by-products.

The case was adjourned to Tuesday, June 12, after the clerk declared an interest, meaning no details could be heard.
