Cash machine stolen in burglary at Northumberland convenience store

A cash machine was stolen after raiders broke into a Northumberland neighbourhood store.

Now police investigating the burglary have released pictures of a man they want to talk to.

The break-in happened in the early hours of Sunday, February 9, at the Nisa Local in Glenluce Court, Cramlington.

Intruders forced entry into the premises and removed the cash machine and CCTV hard drives, before making off in a white van. The cash box was later found nearby shortly afterwards.

Officers say the man pictured was in the area shortly before the incident and police believe he might have valuable information that can assist with the ongoing investigation.

The man, or anyone who knows him, is asked to contact Northumbria Police by emailing [email protected] quoting crime number 17585Y/20.
