12 men - including three from Sunderland, Houghton and South Shields - wanted by Northumbria Police

Police have issued pictures of 12 men they want to trace.

Northumbria Police is looking to track down these dozen offenders from across the North East.

Searches are ongoing at various addresses across the region in an effort to locate them, but with many living transient lifestyles and having access to more than one accommodation, police are now asking the public for assistance.

All 12 crooks are aware that they are wanted and are attempting to evade officers.

The fugitives are:

Kenneth Ingham, 29, of Newcastle

Ryan Gray, 25, of Gateshead

Mark Campbell, 20, of Newcastle

Raymond McPherson, 33, of Gateshead

Lee Ferguson, 36, of North Shields

Stephen Smith, 28, of Blyth

Adam McLaughlin, 29, of Tynemouth

Dylan Newall, 25, of Houghton

Luke Brice, 21, of Houghton

Christopher Rutherford, 38, of South Shields

Mark Riddell, 40, of Sunderland

Carl Hodgson, 25, of Gateshead

Police are appealing for anybody with information about the whereabouts of the dozen men to come forward.

Superintendent Paul Milner, of Northumbria Police, said: “These men are all well-known in their respective areas and may be leaning on friends or family to keep them under the radar and out of sight.

“I would like to reiterate that it is a criminal offence to harbour a wanted fugitive which could lead to possible imprisonment.“We don’t want anybody to get into trouble on their account, so the best scenario for everybody is that those pictured hand themselves in to their nearest police station or contact us via 101.
