Craster WI, Meeting
We were positively drooling as pudding after pudding emerged from our kitchen. Susan was a very engaging speaker as she told us how her company, The Proof Of The Pudding, had come into to being and had blossomed over the years.
She relayed some of the difficulties that success can bring when demand outstrips ability to supply. She would love people to order Christmas puddings well in advance.

Hide AdWe were captivated by the pictures she showed of the visit she received from Prince Charles, and enjoyed hearing about the visit from Countryfile.
Needless to say, we were eager to purchase samples of her wares. We hope to burn off the calories when we take part in the Great British Spring Clean and go around the area picking up rubbish. Did I mention that we still found room for our pooled supper?
Susan found it difficult to judge our competition because of the high standard of entries, but she decided that Pauline Brown had the best four pieces of homemade fudge. Shirley Tucker came a close second and Helen Chamberlain was third. Karen Plaistow won the raffle.
We are hoping for a good attendance at our Easter Bunny Beetle Drive on April 4, and are looking forward to visiting Shilbottle and Brizlee WIs.
