The result in the January competition of a cup and saucer was: 1 P Brown; 2 M Hewitson; 3 P Jones.

The speaker for the evening was Moira Ging, whose presentation was entitled Royal Collection. While working for department stores as a buyer, she went to the USA to work while new friends suggested a vacancy with the Royal Collection.

This involved working in the outlets of Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle and Holyrood Palace.

We enjoyed her talk very much. Joyce Shaw gave the vote of thanks.
