The event, which involves more than 60 organisations, aims to teach youngsters about farming and life in the countryside.
This year the theme is Farming Through The Years, with a particular focus on women in agriculture.

There will be the chance to learn how food production has evolved to keep up with demand, design shopping bags showing the past and present of farming, and dress up as land girls, farmers, vets and bondagers, thanks to support from Bailiffgate Museum and Heatherslaw Corn Mill.
And new this year will be an equine area.
Organiser Philippa Shell said: “The ethos of the day is to educate children in a fun and interactive way and the day is always a huge success.”
The event takes place on Thursday, June 9. For more information visit www.glendaleshow.com
