Active Northumberland is working with Northumberland FA and has contacted clubs throughout the county.

Any clubs which would like to contribute can obtain a questionnaire by contacting John Booth via [email protected] All questionnaires need to be returned no later than Friday, February 12.

Val Tyler, cabinet member for arts, leisure and culture with Northumberland County Council, said: “We are so lucky to have so much green space in the county and outdoor playing pitches are fundamental in supporting sport in all our communities. This research will provide us with key information on how we develop our resources and plan for the future and we hope as many clubs as possible will get involved.”
