Cornhill man denies sex assault
A Cornhill man will face a trial by jury on a charge of sexually assaulting a woman at a house in Berwickshire.
Benjamin Warmington, 37, denies shouting and swearing, pinning the woman to the stairs at a property near Duns and removing her clothing before sexually assaulting her.
Warmington pleaded not guilty at Selkirk Sheriff Court to the offence which is alleged to have been committed on April 30, 2013.
The jury trial is scheduled to take place at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on May 1.
