Alnwick-based Land Rover specialist, Mastora, organised the event to mark Land Rover’s 70th birthday.

Land Rovers and Range Rovers met at Coquet Industrial Estate, Amble, at 10am and the vehicles drove through Amble, Warkworth, Lesbury and then in to Alnwick.

They did two laps around the town before stopping at Mastora’s base on Greensfield Industrial Estate for tea and cake.

The event was raising money for Mountain Rescue and Forward Assist.

Forward Assist's own 101 Forward Control Land Rover, which serves coffee, and two operational Mountain Rescue vehicles joined the convoy.

Monday is World Land Rover Day, 70 years since the British icon's debut at the 1948 Amsterdam Motor Show.
