CONCERT: Magnificent sum was raised
The Wooler branch of Save the Children Fund would like to thank everyone who supported the concert held on Friday, March 18, in the United Reformed Church, Wooler.
This includes the Andante Chamber Choir, who performed a wonderful repertoire of songs and readings, the Wooler Co-op who generously donated some money towards the cost of refreshments provided, and everyone who came along and enjoyed the evening.
The magnificent sum of nearly £800 was raised from ticket sales and donations, and this money will go towards improving the lives of children, both in the UK and abroad.
