Concert in aid of hospice
The harmonious strains of Werca's Folk will ring out in Warkworth's St Lawrence Church on Thursday, March 10 in a fund-raising concert in aid of a regional hospice.
The popular Northumberland women’s choir, whose patron is Clare Balding, will be singing in memory of Thomas, the son of a choir member who received care from St Oswald’s Hospice in Gosforth prior to his death in January.
The concert begins at 7.30pm and tickets, which are £5 and £6, are on sale at the Warkworth Village Store or from Marion Giles on 01665 711602.
