Community skiff on a roll
Alnmouth Community Rowing's St Ayles skiff, Pride of Aln, was on display in Alnwick Market Place on Saturday, by kind permission of the markets manager.
The aim was to promote interest in the boat which allows the community to get involved and go rowing on the north Northumberland coast.
Its trip to Alnwick was made possible by a new, specialised road trailer, which was purchased thanks to a grant from the Stan Owen Heritage Trust. It will also enable the group to take part in skiff competitions and events all over the country.
