Currently the choir has more than 50 members and sings in four-part harmony. Members come from all walks of life, are of all age ranges, have a love of singing and look to perform a wide range of music for the pleasure of others.

The choir is returning with some of its own accompanying musicians to perform what will be a lively mixture of secular and sacred music.

The Rev Rob Kelsey, Vicar of Norham, said: “The Weighton Waytes first came to Norham Church last year, when the mixture of enthusiastic singing and good-humoured banter were very well received.

“In fact, both the audience and the performers enjoyed the concert so much that, even as they were leaving, audience members were asking for a return booking, and the Weighton Waytes were saying that they’d like to come again.”

Tickets are £5 available on the door, under 16s free.
