Community champion
The hard work and dedication of David Griggs was recognised by Ellingham Parish Council at a joint meeting of the council, the Parochial Church Council (PCC), Ellingham Village Hall Committee (EHVC) and the Ellingham Community Trust.
David worked tirelessly as chairman of EVHC for many years, was a past chairman of the parish council and is a member of the PCC of St Maurice.
His input has been invaluable in the upkeep of footpaths in the area and he produced an informative book, Walking from Ellingham.
