Come along to open day to see fitness centre

A special open day is being held on Saturday to give people the chance to see the new Druridge Bay Fitness Centre.

The session runs from 9am to 4pm and for one day only, users will be able to take advantage of the Join for a Coin offer, which is available for multi-site memberships.

The open day is a sneak peak before the facility, at Hadston’s Druridge Bay Community Centre, officially launches on Monday.

From then on, the fitness centre, with state-of-the-art equipment, will open its doors from 8am to 9pm, Mondays to Thursdays; 8am to 7pm on Fridays; and 8am to noon on Saturdays and Sundays.

Different membership packages are available, with a multi-site, single-site and pay as you go options.

There will also be young adults gym sessions, aimed at 14 and 15-year-olds, which will run Mondays to Fridays, 3.30pm to 4.15pm and 4.15pm to 5pm. Places are limited and can be booked in advance. It is £2.70 per session.
