Colourful huts go up at Little Shore
Eight colourful beach huts have been built at Amble's Little Shore.
The scheme, submitted by Kris Burnett of town-based KB Surveying, aims to add to the regeneration of Warkworth harbour.
It is envisaged that the huts will be rented on a daily, weekly, monthly or annual basis, allowing access at any time of the day, although it is not suggested that any overnight stays would be permitted.
The application was approved by Northumberland County Council earlier this year. Two letters of objection were received from the public, on grounds including lack of toilet facilities and concerns over supervision and maintenance.
A dog ban is currently in place at the Little Shore.
