Collision on A697 in Northumberland
The northbound lane of the A697 was temporarily blocked earlier today following an incident involving three cars in Northumberland.
There are reports that the collision took place near Longhorsley, but a Northumbria Police spokeswoman said that the incident took place by Longframlington.
It was described as a minor incident with the only injuries reported being one person with whiplash.
The road is open although at around 2.45pm one vehicle still needed to be removed from the scene.
