A fund-raising coffee shop has re-opened after a refurbishment.
Mandells Coffee Pot is held in Embleton Parish Room on a Monday and Wednesday morning and run by volunteers to raise funds for the village’s Holy Trinity Church.
The room has undergone redecoration, with a new carpet installed and repairs done to the ceiling.
A donation from Alnwick Lions helped pay for the work. The carpet was supplied by Ashley Wynne of Alnwick.
Mandells offers a cosy little room where people can enjoy homemade scones and cakes and the chance to meet others for a chat. New customers are welcome and the venue is dog friendly.
