Coastguard called as casualty suffers head injury after fall on Northumberland coast
The Coastguard was called to a casualty with a head injury on Bamburgh’s coast.

Howick Coastguard was paged by Humber Coastguard at 12.04 on Saturday, September 19 after the person had fallen on the rocks north of Black Rocks Point lighthouse, Bamburgh.
The casualty had suffered a head injury and was bleeding badly. HM Coastguard Holy Island were also called upon to attend.
An ambulance crew were already there. Fortunately the casualty was able to walk off the rocks to the ambulance without the need for a stretcher.
