CLUB: Thank you for support
I am writing on behalf of Alnwick Lions Club, thanking the people of north Northumberland once again for their continued generous support at our recent coffee mornings held in Wooler and Alnwick.
We would also like to thank all the people who bought books. Their support helped us to raise over £1,000 for the Cumbrian flood appeal.
I would especially like to thank general manager Dave Beaney of Morrisons store in Alnwick for its kind donation, and Margaret Givens, family and friends, who organised a terrific tombola stall.
Please pass on our sincere thanks to everyone who help us to raise this money.
